Global Brain has invested in Cluster, a virtual event platform provider

Global Brain (GB) has invested in Cluster, Inc., a provider of a virtual event platform “cluster” through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund Ⅲ (KOIF) and 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund I (31VENTURES). This is the second investment from KOIF since its first investment in 2018.

Cluster, Inc. has developed and operated a VR application “cluster” that allows anyone to hold events such as live music and conferences in a virtual environment. At the same time, thousands of people can be connected, which enables large-scale virtual music live events to be held, providing an enthusiastic experience in the virtual space. With this funding, Cluster, Inc. aims to further expand their business by strengthening product development and marketing.

Global Brain has decided to invest in Cluster because we appreciate the unique vision, strong technological capability, and future growth of a new style entertainment by “cluster”. Global Brain regards the company as a platformer of the fast-growing virtual entertainment industry, and we will support the company in building alliances and partnerships to expand their business both domestically and internationally.
