Global Brain partners with Kyocera on its corporate venture capital fund, “Kyocera Ventures Innovation Fund-I”

Global Brain Corporation (Global Brain) and Kyocera Corporation (Kyocera) will jointly establish “Kyocera Ventures Innovation Fund-I” on April 1, 2024.

Kyocera has a long history of supporting startups through direct investment and collaboration using its unique technologies to enhance research and development and build new enterprises. The new Kyocera Ventures Innovation Fund-I will enhance these efforts in anticipation of future market changes while accelerating its open innovation activities. The Fund will invest primarily in Japanese and Asian startups in the fields of environment and energy, information and communications, medical and healthcare, mobility, advanced materials, software (including AI), aerospace and defense, semiconductors, and nuclear fusion.

As the General Partner of Kyocera Ventures Innovation Fund-I, Global Brain will find promising startups, make investment decisions, and provide a wide range of support to startups which the Fund invests in, striving to achieve rapid growth of the startups.
