Global Brain and Shinhan Venture Investment have jointly established “Shinhan-GB FutureFlow Fund L.P.”

Global Brain Corporation (Global Brain) and Shinhan Venture Investment Co., Ltd. (Shinhan Venture Investment), a subsidiary of Shinhan Financial Group, have jointly established “Shinhan-GB FutureFlow Fund L.P.”

This Fund aims to 1) invest and support seed-stage startups in the rapidly growing Japanese venture/startup ecosystem, 2) invest and support South Korean startups planning to enter the Japanese market, and 3) support such South Korean startups in collaborating with Japanese industries.

As a leading financial group in South Korea, Shinhan Financial Group provides various financial products and services such as retail finance, corporate finance, credit cards, private banking (PB), investment banking (IB), wealth management, securities, and insurance services, through its subsidiaries. Through the recent establishment of global investment office, Shinhan Venture Investment has been actively investing in promising global startups including those in the US and Southeast Asia.

As the General Partner of the Fund, Global Brain will find promising startups, make investment decisions, and provide a wide range of support to startups for achieving rapid growth.
