(Voicy), a Japanese startup offering a voice platform, through its GB-VI & GB-VII Follow-on Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VI & VII Follow-on). Global Brain had invested in the company through its GB-VI Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership. Under the corporate mission of "Make an exciting world by voice & technology," Voicy is working toward enriching people's lives. The company mainly focuses on developing and operating the voice platform, along with other businesses including providing audio branding solutions for corporate communication issues, planning and producing/operating voice content and events, and offering closed communication services including internal audio newsletters for companies. In addition to product development, recruitment, and organizational development, Voicy will continue to enhance platform features and experience for its speakers to be able to comfortably broadcast their programs, aiming to bring the platform to more speakers, companies, and listeners. Global Brain has decided to additionally invest in Voicy, thinking highly of its aspirations for delivering new value into the society by voice and technology, along with its advanced technological and business development capabilities. We will continue to provide various support to Voicy for further business growth.
