Global Brain has made a follow-on investment in Ridge-i, trying to solve social problems by customized AI solutions based on Deep Learning
Global Brain has invested in Ridge-i, who are trying to solve social problems by customized AI solutions based on Deep Learning, through its GB-VII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VII).
Ridge-i is an AI-based business solution developer, and in its team are brilliant AI research engineers and business consulting professionals. With knowledge and skill of its members Ridge-i develops customized solution for each customer based on mixture of cutting-edge Deep Learning theory and mature technology. It has many track records already, such as “garbage flammability recognition system” for garbage disposal facilities to automate garbage mixing cranes operation, and “product error check system” for factories. In space industry, it has developed an image analytics program for images taken from satellites, and was awarded by Japanese Ministry of Economics, Trade and Industry (METI) as winner of “Space Development and Utilization Grand Prize” in 2020.
Global Brain has made a follow-on investment in Ridge-I, based on high appreciation for Ridge-i’s mission (to leverage most advanced technology to solve social problems) and excellent talents in its team. Global Brain will support Ridge-i in various ways, including business development and intellectual property management.
