Global Brain has made an additional investment in Kasanare, Inc. (Kasanare), a provider of tailor-made generative AI systems to augment capabilities of foundation models, through its GB-VIII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VIII) as the lead investor.

Kasanare provides generative AI applications customized for each company and department by combining a set of proprietary technologies called “Kasanare Technology Pieces,” featuring LLM Ops and RAG for generative AI foundation models. Recently, while companies’ needs for introducing generative AI into their business have been rapidly increasing, most companies have failed to produce actual benefits such as productivity improvement by using only existing generative AI services. To address this challenge, Kasanare has developed “Kasanare Technology Pieces” to augment capabilities of foundation models, thereby meeting companies’ needs and accelerating implementation of generative AI technologies into society.

As of November 2024, Kasanare has done more than 50 generative AI projects for enterprises, realizing efficiency in various industries including finance, mobility, consumer goods, and telecommunications. Through this fundraising, Kasanare will continue to strengthen its structure for providing existing services and standardize development processes of sustainable generative AI applications for enterprises.

Global Brain has decided to additionally invest in Kasanare, highly recognizing its technological expertise, including data engineering and AI to augment capabilities of foundation models, and its track record of realizing efficiency in actual business workflows with the expertise. Through this investment, Global Brain will provide comprehensive management support for the further business development of Kasanare.
