Global Brain has made an additional investment in Bloomo Securities Inc. (Bloomo), a US stock asset management app provider, through its Global Brain Flagship Fund IX as the lead investor.

This round of funding was also joined by SFV･GB II L.P. (SFV･GB II) and FUKOKU -THE MUTUAL for Next 100 Fund L.P. (TMN100).

In Japan, the yen has depreciated significantly in recent years, and the country has entered an era of inflation after a long period of deflation. As a result, it has become essential for individuals to focus on asset building through investment, and the shift from saving to investment is accelerating. With the mission of “Investment for Everyone,” the company provides the app called Bloomo, which allows anyone to easily manage their assets in US stocks and ETFs. With the app, users can copy portfolios of experts and other users with a single tap, making full-fledged portfolio investment and asset management easy for everyone from beginners to experienced investors.

Since the public launch of its service in May 2024, Bloomo has been enhancing its functions to make advanced asset management easier, focusing on the portfolio investment, sharing and copying, and rebalancing functions. The app has achieved the No. 1 satisfaction rating among Japanese securities companies (as of March 14, 2025, according to Bloomo’s research). Utilizing the funds raised this time, Bloomo plans to further enhance the app’s asset management functions and diversify its investment products to meet a wide range of user needs and create next-generation financial infrastructure.
