Global Brain has invested in Photosynth inc (Photosynth), a company developing “Akerun” smart lock and cloud-based entry/exit management system, through its 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund II (31VENTURES).

Photosynth is a Japanese IoT startup providing Akerun, easy-to-install, retrofit smart lock and cloud-based entry/exit management system, to enterprises and small-/medium-businesses. The smart lock device can be retrofitted to any doors and opened/locked with smartphone or IC card such as prepaid transportation cards and employee cards. Also, the easy-to-use, cloud-based online management system can be used for managing employee’s authentication and entry/exit to their office and facility as well as evidence for security audit.

Global Brain highly evaluated Photosynth’s products, its related market, and management members. We will support enhancing its further business growth.
