Global Brain has invested in Euphoria Co., Ltd. (Euphoria), a provider of SportsTech solutions such as "ONE TAP SPORTS," through its KIRIN HEALTH INNOVATION FUND. Euphoria is a SportsTech company that leverages technology to solve problems faced by the sports industry. Its main product, "ONE TAP SPORTS," is a system for managing athletes’ conditions and injury prevention, which is used by athletes and coaches of more than 1,700 teams in 71 sports, including Japan's leading athletes. In March 2023, Euphoria made Sgrum Co., Ltd. a subsidiary which operates "Sgrum," a platform for managing sports schools, etc. Furthermore, as a business for corporate clients, Euphoria provides product development and marketing support leveraging the network of athletes/sports teams as well as know-how gained in the sports industry. The company also provides programs applying sports conditioning for employees to maintain and improve their health. Through this financing, Euphoria plans to further develop features and enhance the value it provides for sports teams including a one-stop service for offering insurance products and items supporting sports activities and also intends to expand its business for corporate clients. In addition to past investments in Euphoria through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund II and III, Global Brain has decided to invest in the company this time because of its extensive experience and knowledge of supporting athletes and each business’s growth potential. Global Brain will support Euphoria in the development and implementation of management strategies as well as introductions to potential corporate clients.
