Global Brain has made an additional investment in Euphoria Co., Ltd. (Euphoria), a provider of sports data management service “ONE TAP SPORTS,” through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KOIF III).
Euphoria is a SportsTech company, solving sports-related issues with technology. The company develops and provides “ONE TAP SPORTS,” a system for managing conditions and injury prevention for athletes. Since our previous investment, the number of teams using the system has increased to approximately 1,700 (including professional, amateur, and school teams) from 71 sports in Japan and overseas. The number includes Japanese national teams. Euphoria intends to further expand the scope of the service to include amateur and student sports.
On the other hand, the “product development and marketing support” business, launched in October 2020, leverages the know-how cultivated through the provision of “ONE TAP SPORTS” and the network of sports teams and athletes to provide hands-on support for product development and marketing activities of companies, mainly in the healthcare and fitness fields. The number of cases in which Euphoria has supported product development, promotion, and monitoring surveys is increasing, and the company aims to expand the variation of support content and the number of clients in the near future.
