Global Brain has acquired the shares of Axelspace Holdings Corporation (Axelspace HD), a pioneer of microsatellite business , through its ANA Future Frontier Fund L.P. (ANA Future Frontier Fund), JGC MIRAI Innovation Fund L.P. (JGC MIRAI Innovation Fund), and FUKOKU -THE MUTUAL for Next 100 Fund L.P. (TMN100).

Through Axelspace Corporation, which is a consolidated subsidiary established in 2008, Axelspace HD has been developing its space business utilizing microsatellites and has developed, launched, and operated 10 commercial satellites, including one for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Currently, in addition to the “AxelGlobe” business, a unique Earth observation platform service that started in 2019, the company offers an innovative one-stop service that provides everything from feasibility study to design and manufacturing, launch, and on-orbit operation of microsatellites as part of the “AxelLiner” business that expanded from its original dedicated satellite business and was announced in 2022.
