Global Brain(GB) has invested in 4DReplay, Inc. (4DReplay), a U.S. based startup providing a free viewpoint replay technology, through its KDDI Open Innovation Fund (“KOIF”).

4DReplay, originally established in South Korea, and moved headquarters to San Jose, California, has developed visual processing systems which enable dynamic expressions in sports, entertainments, and other scenes.

Combining remote control, synchronization, and high speed visual processing technologies over hundred cameras, its system can capture motions, edit them, and play free view point videos within 5 seconds.

4DReplay has provided the systems to broadcasting stations, and also enable users to view videos from various angles on its proprietary mobile app.

GB highly evaluated 4DReplay’s technology and talented team, and will support its business in both Japan toward 2020 Tokyo Olympic game, and overseas.
