Global Brain has invested in UnaBiz, end to end IoT solution provider
Global Brain (“GB”) has announced its investment in UnaBiz Holdings Pte Ltd (“UnaBiz”), exclusive Sigfox network provider in Singapore and Taiwan through KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (“KOIF3”).
UnaBiz is an end to end Internet of Things (IoT) solutions company dedicated to accelerate the adoption of IoT worldwide. As the exclusive Sigfox’s low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) provider in Singapore and Taiwan, UnaBiz has been leading IoT innovation in Asia. Together with being as network provider, UnaBiz has capability of Research and Development of IoT hardware and solution, which has global customer base across 25 countries and counting.
GB has evaluated not only UnaBiz’s achievement of Asia’s first Sigfox network provider role, but also their management and team with deep IoT knowledge and experiences for comprehensive IoT solution capability to many industries. GB has invested through SORACOM IoT Fund Program under KOIF3, which is strategic investment initiative with SORACOM, INC. (“SORACOM”). SORACOM is a market-leading platform for cloud-native IoT connectivity-as-a-service, serving more than 10,000 customers worldwide. With this SORACOM IoT Fund Program, KDDI, SORACOM and GB make strategic alliance with UnaBiz to drive IoT transformation at a global scale.
