Naoki joined GB in 2023 and is responsible for investments in technology areas, particularly semiconductors and materials.

Prior to joining GB, Naoki worked for a Japanese chemical company, Asahi Kasei corporation. He started his career as a mixed-signal IC design engineer responsible for R&D and product development of ASICs for automotive millimeter-wave radar. He contributed to the launch of IC products. He was also involved in new business development, strategic planning, advanced technology search, and planning and management of accelerator programs.

Naoki enjoys surfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He also likes craft beers, especially IPAs.
