Joopyo joined GB in 2015 and responsible for investment in South Korea. Major portfolio startups include Dunamu (Upbit), Zigbang, Backpackr (Idus), Stradvision, NBT (IPO), Team Blind, 4DReplay, etc.

Joopyo built his career at Skylake Investment, a South Korean PE, where he was responsible for IT sector investment. Major portfolio companies included Wemade (IPO), Olaworks (Acquired), FNS Tech (IPO), Zum Internet (IPO), etc. Later, he served as CSO of a startup and also founded a company. As Head of Growth Strategy Part at Kakao, he contributed to M&A and planning of growth strategy.
