Global Brain has decided to make an additional investment in iCARE Co., Ltd. (iCARE), a startup providing a healthcare management SaaS platform “Carely,” through its SFV･GB L.P. (SFV･GB) and GB-VIII Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership (GB-VIII).
iCARE provides a healthcare management SaaS platform “Carely.” Using the platform, HR persons can streamline corporate health management operations such as medical checkups, stress checks, and working time management, and significantly reduce their workload. Since September 2020, iCARE has also been offering a health management consulting service utilizing health-related big data accumulated on "Carely." As a result, "Carely" is widely adopted as a core system for health management to support sustainable business growth.
In addition, due to its excellent track record and the rising social awareness about health management, "Carely" won the top prize in the HR and labor management category in the "HR Awards 2021" voted by 270,000 HR persons in Japan.
Global Brain has decided to make an additional investment in iCARE, thinking highly of the promising health management market, strong management team, and excellent product which is now essential for many companies. Through this investment, Global Brain will proactively leverage its resources with Sony Financial Ventures to support iCARE's further growth.
