Global Brain has invested in Toggle Robotics, Inc., a company providing full stack robotics and automation rebar solutions

Global Brain has invested in Toggle Robotics, Inc. (Toggle), a company providing full stack robotics and automation solutions for rebar, through its TOKYU-CNST GB Innovation Fund L.P. (TCIF).
Rapid changes in the construction industry and both the natural and built environment have put greater emphasis on sustainability, resiliency and the need for adoption of new technology. Reinforced concrete, which is the fundamental building block of infrastructure and urban structures, represents a major opportunity for innovation.
Toggle’s new approach to rebar (steel reinforcement) combines robotics, automation and the capture of structural, quality and robotic production data, critical for building machine learning and AI applications. With a focus on large scale urban and infrastructure projects including high-rise towers, transportation and renewable energy, Toggle is able to dramatically accelerate construction timelines, save costs and improve worker safety.
While implementing change in legacy markets like construction can be challenging, Toggle has taken a customer centric approach putting existing processes, standards and stakeholders first in an effort to ensure seamless integration and excellent customer experience.
This approach, coupled with the team’s vision and perseverance in this complex category, was particularly important in Global Brain’s decision to invest in Toggle. Global Brain will leverage their collective resources to support Toggle in expanding international business, acquiring Japanese enterprise clients, and developing new products.
